now on to baseball. yes, i'm cheering about curt schilling going to boston. gagne is relieved--and he doesn't even have to face him. yes, folks it is true--schilling has never lost to the dodgers, so this is indeed good--unless it's the red sox and the dodgers in the world series. even todd helton of the rockies is relieved.

and i keep telling you the padres will be the team in the nl west next year. the d-backs are getting older.
