today is sunday 22 june 2003.

normal sunday. church, panda express, sleep, eat, study hebrew. tried translating--it's like greek--fumble around and hope your vocabulary miraculously improves.

daily readings in the book of esther this week. study Bible comments that "we can trust God to weave the events of life for our best, even if we may not be able to see the overall pattern."

the d.min. stuff is overwhelming--to think two months ago i wasn't even thinking about going for another degree--and in about two weeks i get my first reading list! for the record--this is not something i want to do--but felt i needed at least to attempt because of how God just dropped this in my lap. a step of faith . . . you people will need to remind me as i go through this program--God put me here so He will get me out (one way or another). don't let me get myself out of what ever blessing God has in store because i myself decided to get myself out of the program.

dodger report: brownie had a brown-out today. angels won, but that's o.k. because so did san francisco. got t-mobile to fly the scores to my phone. close race--and it's not even july! think of it this way--the dodgers and giants should easily double their win totals by the end of september--so we could be looking at two teams in the nl west hitting the mid-ninety win mark. things will get interesting as the blue men play in san fran tomorrow.
