today is monday 12 march 2007.
so yesterday was the day we're supposed to set clocks ahead an hour. a few questions . . . like why is the ms outlook fix 8mb? can we say bloated? why did frontier airlines have a near meltdown--flights were incorrectly scheduled, but guess what--an hour.
how about the fix that is bound not to crash anything? instead of dealing with all the headaches with auto update--why don't we just check the time and make necessary adjustments? life is so complicated for some . . .
colorado symphony hip yesterday. and no, no problems starting on time. dvorak symphony 6 was pretty hip. so was marin alsop conducting. so was fill-in pianist chris o'rielly filling in for the injured jeffrey kahane--though the kahane (current conductor)/alsop (conductor laureate) pairing with would have been indeed hip.
before the concert, a bunch of cellos played in the lobby. kinda weird--i think they were a group of six cellos playing arranged rock songs. again--on cellos nonetheless.
so throughout the concert my phone is buzzing with spring training scores. not that i don't like baseball--but i really don't care about results that don't mean a thing.
so it's the 12th day of march. and no snow flakes in sight. march the snowiest month of the year--right.
