today is saturday 26 february 2005.

nothing much going on. yesterday was elem and ms cacs. so exciting this takes a line in my blog.

actually i have much to say . . . but i will not blog about this.

now onto something worthy of blogging . . . like the dodgers. i saw my dodger calendar from a few years ago. i had to throw it away--the players in the calendar are no longer dodgers.

spyware is the big thing out in the internet world. if you haven't installed spyware agents--i definitely recommend doing so. adaware, spybot, and spyblaster--all free.

my spam filter still stinks--but it works. but if you've got a suggestion, i'm all ears.

and mozilla firefox. firefox is for sultans!

today is wednesday 23 february 2005.

mom, dad, sister, and nephew in town last weekend. you figure they'd see snow when then come in february--alas it's 65 degrees here in denver. no snow until frisco, on the other side of the eisenhower tunnel and continental divide . . . what the mess was the groundhog talking about?

nba weekend . . . wild here in denver. not that i care. baseball season coming up.

which brings me back to the dodgers. milton bradley says he's playing center. so does jd drew. we'll see. but the dodgers will probably take third . . . if i keep talking like this, then maybe there's a repeat of last year.

sister's dog had surgery. i say just upgrade to a newer, faster, dog.

cacs contest this week. so exciting, this takes a line in my blog.

today is saturday 12 february 2005.

colorado symphony concert last night was pretty trippy. the charisian presence hates pachelbel's canon. i liked it. but don't even think about getting her the cd recording with different versions of pachelbel's canon. she won't like it. for the record, she hates playing pachelbel's canon for anything.

ravel's bolero was on the program last night also. i don't know if i liked that piece either. no variety.

the cso also played "my heart will go on" from titanic. it sounded odd--a real orchestra and singer playing music that wasn't intended for a real orchestra (or a real singer).

dodger season starts soon. so exciting this takes a line in my blog.

Thursday, February 10, 2005

today is thursday 10 february 2004.

so i'm just messing with the computer. i thought of starting a podcast . . . hadj thinks this is too drastic of a shift in the subculture (that is into the realm of the ipods). the shuffle is cool, but my mp3 player is a panasonic cd player that has mp3/wma capabilities--this works out better for me.

got mailscantity to finally work. i probably could get outlook doing the same thing, but trying to mess with the rules wizard on a client and server is like giving a dog a bath.

new term . . . falling off the floor--do not panic.

so i'm teaching the shell method in calc (for volumes from revolutions). why not we call it the onion method--onions have layers. of which the calc students remind of me that shell are like onions and have layers.

cinnabon is pretty hip place for cinnamon rolls. i took the survey online . . . for some reason the phone survey says i get a dollar off--the receipt says i get two for the price of one. not that i care--i save either way. but i did notice that caribou coffee isn't served there anymore . . .

talking about caribou coffee, someone told me there's a caribou coffee stand opening down in castle rock. this person mentions that i have to trek down to castle rock for caribou--but when i was in greenville, i used to trek to atlanta for caribou . . .

mozilla firefox is easly the browser of choice in the melvinistic subculture . . . but beware, do not delete ie6. bad things could happen.

dodger season almost here. so exciting, this takes a line in my blog. i'll predict third place, so maybe they'll win the division like last year.

yes, the time has come . . . the meatloaf test! by the way, the meatloaf was for sultans!

so what's a trip to the zoo without jumping all over the apes . . .

so do these things drool?
today is monday 07 february 2005.

the northland class last week wore on me . . . teaching modules are simply draining.

nothing wild going on. spam filter on outlook is a piece of junk--so if you have suggestions i'm all ears. also downloaded mozilla firefox. yep, it took me a while. and yes, i still have my old grandma system--but she still works and i'm able to cruise the net even with wi-fi in the library.

superbowl yesterday. so thrilling this takes a line in my blog.

what is exciting is the dodger season. if you want my prediction, i say it'll be the d-backs and the angels next year. but who knows, maybe the dodgers will pull it off.

Thursday, February 03, 2005

today is thursday 03 february 2005.

nothing really going on. teaching a class on historical books for northland this week. it's kinda exciting--one week modules though are somewhat tiring. we're about halfway.

the dodgers start in about two weeks. superbowl is great for the mere fact that baseball starts up soon.

asid from that, nothing really going on.
