the up and down dodgers finally won a game . . . it's been a week. beltre is becoming the sultan!

why do italian sausages and bratwurst come in packages of five or six, and hot dog buns come in packages of eight?

and on the same thought, why do frozen hamburgers come in packages of a dozen, and hamburger buns come in packages of eight?

free concert week . . . opera on the rocks got rained out at red rocks, so instead they move to the climate-controlled confines of boettcher hall . . . i think i like that much better. city park tonight. and red rocks again saturday.

and taking a look at websites--you've got to see the los angeles philharmonic website. there's a song that starts up--and i can't figure out what it is.

hadji's dodgers got whipped last night, two touchdowns to zero . . . haven't won all week . . . in third place . . . three and half out of first . . . and to add the grief--robin ventura pitching. greivous.

but the dodgers have had eleven sell-outs this year. they had eleven last year.

and talking about good sides to the dodgers--beltre is having a killer year!

hadji's dodgers got swept in san francisco. i guess the tony bennett song takes a whole new meaning for me . . .

today is thursday 24 june 2004. and i don't know why i'm blogging so well this week . . . i am still spend much time in the charisian presence if anyone cares!

what i care not see is the dodgers and their current lashing by the giants . . . these dodgers are more inconsistent than the normal--and yes they're streakier than last year. last year, dodger pitching was able to hold down opponents through several series with strong rotations in the starting pitching. now a days, the hitting is better, but the pitching has been inconsistent also.

e-rabbi.blogspot.com has hadji's insights in his yet to be non-published book . . . i think it's kinda neat--perhaps one day i'll write a book . . .

what is funny about hadji's blog of late is his treatise concerning wireless phone calls . . . it is very true that when nothing is going one there's no calls . . . but when things happen (like for me, during silver state's graduation) calls come in. and yes, i do keep my phone on at all times--so that in case nothing is really going on and yet i want to leave, i can pretend my phone is going off to politely leave.

so why is that when the blogger screen goes up my mind goes blank?

the dodgers lose to the giants last night . . . HOW THE MESS DID THE GIANTS END UP A HALF GAME BEHIND THE DODGERS!!!!!!!!!!

so in the summer i spend much of my time in my classroom--survival is going to where there's air conditioning and broadband!

aside from that, not much going on!

i tried to blog yesterday, but the site wasn't coming up. but yes, things are stilly pretty busy in the charisian presence!

today it's raining here in denver. splashbacks annoy me. another thing that annoys me is sprinklers turned on when it rains--that annoys me.

the dodgers win the series against the yankees. the yanks get a nice introduction to our favourite canadian closer.

how come fox shows the dodgers/red sox one week and then red sox/giants in consecutive weeks. the dodgers/yankees should have been seen!

and yes orbit did tear into a cat last week . . . orbit and pit bull.

yesterday the detroit pistons won the nba championship. big thrill--enough for me to blog about it.

yesterday i got a grill. a small grill--one that uses the one pound propane tank, but a grill nonetheless. in celebration, i cooked up two ribeyes.

mom tells me orbit and pit bull killed a stray cat. it's the cat's fault.

and don't you hate movies with dogs in them? especially the ones where the dog dies at the end--i hate those kinds of movies.

i talk about going to spicy pickle all the time . . . but i've never been there yet.

and the rockies . . . noteworthy to blog that they finally broke out of their eight-game losing streak. yup, my theory holds--dave roberts wasn't playing . . . but it doesn't help that dave roberts plays for the dodgers . . .

which comes back to the dodgers--and dave roberts did play and the dodgers did win. the stat is the blue men are 13-4 when he runs . . .

week ends with reagan's funeral . . . .

now to the dodgers--on national fox yesterday so vin scully gets the day off. the dodger bats didn't take a day off--14 to 5 in favor of the blue men. the jayson werth, olmedo saenz transactions don't look so bad after all.

the angels continue to surprise. without anderstand, erstad, glaus, donelly, percival, and now sele on the dl . . . two games behind the athletics.

yes, i did see return of the king . . . except the middle hour from the spider scene to the part where frodo is ready to throw the ring into the lava (and gets his fingers bitten off). my grandma/soccer mom dvd froze--so a tap would get it started again. and yes, every second for the last half hour . . .

my grandma/soccer mom system got network in the room finally last week.

and i'm ready to get of my grandma/soccer mom system as jeffco library system is offering free wifi internet.

and i'm ready to get rid of qwest. and aol. but not yet.

and yes, dave roberts is playing--and the dodgers are winning.

i hate moths. i hate moths in my car. i hate moths that fly in my room. i hate moths.

so last week, i'm watch the third lord of the rings--my grandma/soccer mom dvd player on my compuer decides to freeze right before the spider scene. i get the thing to start playing--but this time i get it going where frodo is ready to toss the ring back into the lava (right before he gets his fingers bit off)--i wanted to see the end. so i did see return of the king, except chapters 30-50 . . . about the middle hour is what i'm missing.

the dodgers are winning again. and yes dave roberts is playing.

in case anyone is wondering, the charisian presence has passed yet another test--the blueberry cheesecake test. very yummy as she would say herself.

belmar library has free wifi internet. now i need to get rid of this grandma/soccer mom system and get a notebook with wifi.

five dollar pizza phenomenon . . . little ceasars opens on sheridan and has a five dollar large pizza . . . now every pizza place this side of town has to offer a five dollar pizza.

aside from that--my dodgers back on track now that dave roberts is back on track.

today is tchuesday 01 june 2004. yes, blogging hasn't been good--but this doesn't mean things are bad for me . . . i guess you can say i've been "busy" in the charisian presence.

anyway, talking about the dodgers--sign of doom is when dave roberts hits the disabled list. the dodgers are 3-0 with two shutouts when he's playing . . . 2-14 when he's not . . . doesn't need a statistician to figure out this correlation.

so i'm walking the other day and see this daschund . . . owner called him "noodle." so what other names should you give a dashund--spaghetti, ramen, chow mein, chow fun, lo mein . . .

memorial day yesterday . . . nothing big happening here.

so raul mondesi joins the angels? an angel he is not . . .

back to the dodgers--wilson alvarez back to the bullpen when he gets better. nomo with the acrylic nail to start next tchuesday in toronto . . . edwin jackson doing a spot start this week . . . otherwise, od perez, ishii, and weaver try to keep winning while dave roberts stays in the lineup else bad things happen.
