yes, indeed the blogging is not doing so hot . . . actually, blogging stinks . . . but really there's nothing to blog . . .

hadji's dodgers stink. nothing good to say for a team that is 2-8 in their last ten games. makes you wonder how they stay in front of the padres.

maybe i didn't blog about this yet, but not that i actually cared--but American idol is down to the final week. how thrilling.

you can tell things are real exciting when American idol is all i muster for a blog.

today is wednesday 19 may 2004.

dodgers have lost five in a row. indeed, dave's dodgers in a slump.

on the other hand, my angels are streaking--they win games despite glauss, erstad, and anderson on the dl.

one team that loses and i wish worse to them--the atlanta braves . . . get 18 strikeouts one day--a perfect game the next. wish the same for the san fran giants

graduation tomorrow . . . done. another year . . .

not that i care, but jasmine trias is still in american idol.

today is monday 17 may 2004.

looks like silver state's schedule is ahead about a week . . . i was for sure memorial day was next week . . . i guess not.

the charisian presence reminded me that this weekend the dodgers were dave's dodgers--that is they lost 4 in a row.

aside from that, nothing really going on!

today is wednesday 12 may 2004.

yesterday it hits 80 degrees. today it drops 40 degrees . . . wild.

the dodgers win in pittsburgh this weekend. and before that they take two of three from the marlins. on the verge of winning another series against the cubbies . . . are these dodgers hot or what?

not that i care, but jasmine is still in american idol . . . no, i didn't watch it to find out . . .

and yes, the general taguba who reported the iraqi prisoner abuse is indeed from hawaii--from wahiawa even . . . and yes, my parents did know his family . . . wild.

aside from this, nothing really going on!

blogging not too hot . . . but the weather in denver is . . .

yesterday is big bju renion-like get-together. i go to preacher's conference and see all these preacher types. i'm the only teacher there--may have freaked out a few . . .

so right in the middle of the meal, buddy from chi-town tells me he's in dia . . . fun afternoon . . . but couldn't spend the evening with him as i was in the charisian presence . . . 8-)

back to baseball--what up with my angels! what up with my dodgers! and what up with the padres! though i'd like to see an i-5 world series, my predictions of a padre/angel matchup looks near heavenly . . . no pun intended.

so the other day this froofy dog comes and near attacks me--so i lick it first before it first licks me . . .

densem hermeneutics final a pain . . . so we have to look at psalm 136 and decide if it's a synonymous, synthetic, or stairlike parallelism . . . i like this stuff not! so it's "think like eckelbarger time" i'm thinking . . . what's worse is the parable we have to exegete--luke 13, i think i messed up royally . . .

anyway, studies are done for now . . . not till the summer do i go back to do some reading for real . . .

dodgers are streaking like nothing else. what i don't get is the weaver/ishii run production. the dodgers score less then 3 runs on average when weaver pitches . . . when ishii's on the mound the runs jump to 9--yes nine . . . in miami, green hits 2, so does encarnacion, and so does bradley . . . and though not having as much wins as the padres, the dodgers don't have as many loses either--so they remain atop the division . . .

so it's eighty-five degrees again in colorado . . . hot . . .

also reminds me of the days for shakes . . . trust me you, the shakes can at any time with the warmer colorado weather. . . nothing against hadji, but i like who i can get shakes with these days a little more than the with the good old days . . . 8-)

ok, ok . . . the charisian presence doesn't require me from not blogging--it's just that i'm busy these days, you see . . .

the dodgers lost their second series this year against (this time the mets) . . . but they are on the virge of sweeping the expos--a team without a players, a home, fans . . .

anyone looking at the standings recently? . . . boston, minnesota, texas, florida, and the dodgers all have 15 wins and lead their divisions . . . the cubs have 14 wins and lead their division . . . one team has 16 wins and is not--the padres. yes folks, my padres are on the ready to pounce!

brown palace friday night . . . charisian presence and enjoyed this jr./sr. banquet . . . . so i still don't get it--why do people call and ask me for directions?
