for those who missed the fox game of the week with the yankees visiting the cubbies--missed a dandy. i don't get why clemons got pulled so early. wood was electric. choi collision nothing but freaky. never liked juan acevedo--obviously every yank knows why--karros coming in and clubbing one out reminiscent of the days back in the city of angels.

dodger report: ishii stopped the sox last night. today ashby gets the call to start--looks like it'll be ashby for the rest of the season, and he deserves that.

the game in chicago featured a lot of former dodgers also: karros, grudzielanek, mondesi, and zeile.

on to sosa: tim mccarver on fox said it well--sosa should've known what kind of bat he's handling because the bats become the extension of his arms. i think sosa's suspension will be reduced but by only a day, but more importantly the delay is for a break in the schedule.
