today is sunday 19 november 2006.
turkey day thursday . . . got a turkey rub from crate and barrel. should be hip.
tried a two layer pumpkin creme cheese pie yesterday. for some reason, mine didn't end up like the photo on readycrust.com.
friday is black friday. and no i'm not getting up at 5:00 a.m. to go to circuit city.
talking of circuit city. went there on saturday . . . some guy was outside with a blanket waiting for wii. the wii crowds much more subdued than the playstation crowd. last week's playstation people getting shot for a game console--you gotta be kidding me.
bill mueller of the dodgers joins the front-office. no big deal . . . until you see his salary. no kidding--4.5 mil. no joke. i guess mueller was to get the money from the dodgers whether he played or not. i guess it beats sitting on the bench.

today is sunday 05 november 2006.
yesterday i voted. absentee voting--i don't see the point of standing in line anywhere . . .
i thought electronic voting was hip. until i hear the cnet people just ripping it. namely the fact that for much of the country, voting machines are in the alpha stage. yeah, i'm all for electronic stuff--but i do agree with the cnet people that better backup/redundant systems would have been better. another plus for absentee voting.
not that i really care--but why do we vote for county coroner?
and the politicians have it all wrong with technology . . . just use the google to look for things in the tubes.
