went to a rockies game tonight . . . it's great to see my second favorite team play--that is anyone against the san francisco giants. so in the seventh inning--we sing "let's root, root, root against the giants!"

csi miami this week was way intense. csi las vegas was kinda lame. csi new york will have to wait another week.

charisian presence made hamburger steak this week. pretty sultan stuff! never really got it at l and l--always get the chicken katsu at la and l.

the jet blue with the messed up landing gear was wild. would be wild if you were in the jet watching the whole thing unfold on direct tv.

freaky yes to see impending doom--but i think people need to take it in perspective. it's almost like watching a hurricane coming at you . . .

papa johns makes a sultan pizza. the bacon chicken ranch pizza is indeed for sultans!

ok, i'm a csi junkie. and i'll bet there's a whole lot of people out there who are csi junkies too!

which reminds of that scene where grissom says to the exterminator, "doesn't it bother you that you make your living killing bugs." that's funny.

csi miami was way intense last night. funny how every week all these csi people get cases once a week that normal csi people never ever get.

statement that's running around in mlb--we're running out of time meaning postseason is coming soon. someone wisely stated that if any team is still thinking they're running out of time, fact is time has probably run out.

today i wore my mets shirt. which reminds me of the mets meltdown. two weeks ago they were in the wild card hunt . . . then they proceeded to lose more than a dozen games nearly in a row to knock themselves right out of contention.

talking about knocking themselves out of contention. dodgers were on at 12-2 tear . . . then had a winning percentage around .400 for the next 120 games. ain't going to make it to the playoffs like that . . .

i just got the rockies/padres score on my phone. padres 1-rockies 20. is this a football or baseball score?

joshua bell and colorado symphony last night was wild. much energy--have you ever seen a standing ovation between movements?

the dodgers stink. probably the more disturbing than another one-run loss was seeing the pregnant woman with "beat l.a." on her painted orange belly . . .

aside from that, nothing really going on . . .

hadj's visit finally inspired me . . . i got an rss reader and an ipoder on my grandma system.

gotta love this . . . when to one rss reader download. but it wouldn't install on non-2000 or non-xp systems. don't ask what i'm using . . . it simply works. though barely.

podcasting is pretty cool. i'm actually listening to hadj's podcast as i blog. don't worry i won't be wearing any orange anytime soon . . . please don't tell me hadj turned and became a fan of the s** f********* g****s.

got a new cappuccino/espresso maker the other day. cool stuff.

four years after 9-11 . . .

saw a groundhog run unto kipling the other day. freaked me out--either it was lost and didn't know what to do or else it was suicidal. trust me you, i swerved so that i wasn't his end.

the dodgers have 20 games to go while 6 games behind the padres. do they really think they have a chance?

hadj was in denver this weekend . . . got me finally motivated to get started with rss (send me your feeds of interest) . . . i might even start podcasting . . .

went to l and l tonight. got a saimin. the stuff is for sultans.

and if you're ever in denver, there's a hip little chinese place off cherry creek on first avenue. they have won ton soup.

the taste of colorado last week was hip. busy.

this weekend in downtown is oktoberfest. maybe i'll go . . . bring pastor to listen to "sanctified polka."

hadj told me a few weeks back that kids speak in terms of "up" . . . look up, sit up, shut up, speed up . . . adults speak in terms of "down" . . . slow down, settle down, calm down . . . i think my kiddies are picking this up--they tell me i'm always speaking in terms of down.

two guys at the dodgers game were ready to start a fight in the stands because one of them was wearing a raiders shirt (don't worry i didn't get it either) . . . sit down, settle down, calm down . . .
