on the mlb front . . . the dodgers stink. they'll probably take third place again. the padres are streaking and taking the division. the yankees are streaking finally, and now they're not the bottom dwellers of the division.

so the other day, the charisian presence gets me a coffee at starbucks . . . i try the new "coupage de sol" . . . a new blend . . . i take two sips, walk over to the barista and ask "this stuff is columbian, isn't it?" they respond--"yeah, it's new--and you're right . . . "

the dodgers lost sunday. now they're in third place. that stinks.

what didn't stink was the colorado symphony on saturday . . . it's too bad the pines of rome didn't get the reviews like this weekend . . . i think the pines of rome were better . . . but rites of spring was pretty ok too. and the guest pianist (helene grimaud) was better than the last guest pianist (william wolfram) . . .

it's kinda funny how sometimes people make mistakes . . . like when people were supposed to keep things like computer files, when they misplace it--they just say "it's on the network . . ."

not much going on . . . dodgers still in first, but not killing everyone like they did last month.

the rockies are well on pace to set a record on number of losses in a season. statistically there's a correlation--the more they play, the more they lose.

the new star wars comes out next week . . . makes me almost want to go out and buy a yoda suit. hopefully yoda has some decent scenes in this one--not like that part in number two that made me want to vomit ("queen amidala--seeing you brings warm fuzzy feelings")

taco bell has sayings on their sauces. like "single hot sauce seeking friendship maybe more." and even "my sauce is an honor student at taco middle school."

drunk guy walks on campus last week. lockdowns are somewhat exciting. then there was the one later that week about the guy who left a box in a bank and left on a bicycle. supposedly the box as a bomb. trust me you, if it were a bomb it would've been on the news.

starbucks has sayings on their cups . . . but more serious than the taco bell stuff.

papa johns doesn't have teh $5 pizza anymore. that didn't last long.

and finally, yes it is may. and larry green and the rest of the news 4 weather people did call for snow--though mostly in the mountains.

nothing really going on. the charisian presence is getting used to big changes in lives. hint in life to guys--when planning the wedding, "whatever you choose will be fine with me" is the golden answer.

the dodgers are playing some golden baseball again. so they go on their streak and take the nl west. go on a losing streak while here in denver, but it looks like they're on a winning streak again. these dodgers are the same as the dodgers of old--streaky.
