today is saturday 31 january 2004.

snow. hopefully nothing like last weekend.

seven more flights cancelled to the united states. six to washington and one to miami. miami makes no sense though.

aside from that--mum is the word.

Monday, January 26, 2004

today is monday 26 january 2004.

snow in denver. approx 4 inches in lakewood. for a while, an inch an hour right before church last night.

rule in life--don't run your snow blower blowing snow into the wind. one day i'll figure this out . . .

aside from that--mum is the word.

Saturday, January 24, 2004

today is saturday 24 january 2004.

not much blogging--but not because nothing is going on . . . much is going on in a sense. but mum is the word--or rather no blogging for now . . . this is nothing bad.

dodgers ready to go on sale. gagne asking for a 1450% jump increase in salary. od perez and beltre signed for one more year. that's it on the baseball front.

and what up with detroit trying to get pudge rod?

not that i care, but ben and jlo are done.

what up michelle wei. i can barely hit a golf ball straight--she drives it 300 yards. wouldn't want to meet her in some dark alley in waikiki . . .

so a kid comes up to me and says "i've got a better background if you want it." lay off shawn green. back off i tell the kid. and i growl.

Sunday, January 18, 2004

today is sunday 18 january 2004.

so lawyers say michael jackson is not a freak. so then what is he then?

saw a frozen pierogie at super target the other day. haven't tried them yet.

got this new term applied to me--seems i a sort of "tortured genius." i don't get it.

Saturday, January 17, 2004

today is saturday 17 january 2004.

the michael jackson fiasco is just fiasco. i wish i had fox news net to see how they're adding to the fiasco.

windy and rainy and stormy in hawaii. cold and cold and cold out east. hate to say that colorado is a mild 50 degrees and sunny.

weekend seminary class starts in a month. got the reading list--what fun!

d.min. seminars going on right now. not in them--but when this session is done, two more reading lists come out. what fun.

nothing new to report on the dodger front. i tell you--follow the angels. or the padres.

Monday, January 12, 2004

today is monday 12 january 2004.

not much to blog about. simply that rocket clemens has joined the astros . . . so the cubs are in for another long season.

Sunday, January 11, 2004

today is sunday 11 january 2004.

nothing wild aside from being a somewhat normal sunday. church, panda express, sleep, church.

hint in life--don't wash your car at night especially when it gets cold at night. your door locks could freeze, like mine did this morning.

what about vladi guerrero to the angels! forget the dodgers, let's go angels!

and what of the orioles making their moves? do they really think they'll overtake the yanks or red sox?

Saturday, January 03, 2004

today is saturday 03 january 2004.

snowing here in denver. beats the humidity of the homeland.

talking about the homeland--gau gee from waimalu chop suey is sultan food! up there with school meatloaf, and status that pierogies can aim for seeing as i have not a clue what they are yet.

did i mention that i had a shaved ice the other day? i don't know why . . .

raining back in the homeland--don't miss a wet pit bull or orbit running after me at all.

flying back to the mainland, the flight crew made it known that they were based in los angeles. 1st officer: "temperature is 55 degrees, partly cloudy--and just so you know sc is leading michigan at the half." you should've seen the airport . . .

aside from that, nothing really going on.

Friday, January 02, 2004

today is friday 02 january 2004.

new year. in hawaii, new years day came in real quiet. only two people on the block with firecrackers. but somebody a few blocks away had artillery . . . .

not fun through the airports. the score i think is 9-3-0, los angeles besting washington dulles and the rest of the country with numbers of cancelled flights.

not fun through honolulu. terminal 8 filled with about 800 people--united servicing three 777s and one 767 all departing within 2 hours of each other. different security procedures, transfers from other airlines, and not to mention two-thirds of the people don't speak English (two of the 777s headed to Japan).

kinda regret not having sushi back in hawaii.

aside from all that, nothing really going on.
